The first battle between two Cognac.
And then a special duel like this. Two island Cognac (both XOs) compete against each other here. One cognac from the Ile d'Oleron and the Ile de Ré, which is a little further north. 
Both producers are cooperatives. 

Unfortunately, there are very few cognacs from either island on the market, which is of course a shame on the one hand. 
I'm even more excited about this exciting duel.

Das erste Battle zwischen zwei Cognacs.
Und dann gleich ein solches besonderes Duell. Zwei Inselcognacs (beide XOs) treten hier gegeneinander an. Einmal ein Cognac von der Ile d'Oleron und der etwas nördlicher gelegeneren Insel Ile de Ré. 

Bei beiden Produzenten handelt es sich um Genossenschaften. 

Es gibt leider sehr wenige Cognacs von einem der beiden Inseln auf dem Markt, was natürlich einerseits sehr schade ist. 
Umso mehr gespannt bin ich auf dieses packende Duell.
