DESCRIPTION:

The Domaine d'Aurensan is one of the more upscale Armagnac Domaines (in terms of price). 

The Domaine has been in the family since the end of the 19th century. 
They own around 8 hectares of vineyards and somewhat wetter warehouses for their casks. 

They hand-fill all bottles sold and only to order.

In today's review we have the vintage 1979. A single cask bottling at around 43 years old. Only Ugni Blanc grapes were used and the whole thing was bottled at cask strength without the addition of any additives.

BESCHREIBUNG: 

Die Domaine d'Aurensan gehört zu den (preislich betrachtet) gehobeneren Armagnac Domaines. 

Die Domaine ist seit dem Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts im Familienbesitz. 
Sie bestizen ca. 8 ha an Rebflächen und eher etwas feuchtere Lagerhäuser für Ihre Fässer. 

Sie füllen alle verkauften Flaschen von Hand ab und nur auf Bestellung.

Im heutigen Review haben wir den Jahrgang 1979. Eine Einzelfassabfüllung mit ca. 43 Jahren. Es wurden ausschließlich Ugni Blanc Trauben verwendet und das ganze wurde, ohne die Zugabe von Zusätzen, in Fassstärke abgefüllt.
