DESCRIPTION:

Regardless of the fact that this Cognac from Bon Bois is 45 years old, it still has an incredible alcohol content of a whopping 62.5%. 
I actually had to look twice to see if that number was correct.

The label for this bottling has its origins in the song “Message in a bottle” from 1979, which is also the year this cognac was distilled. 

For me, this is the first cognac from this 19th century house that I'm allowed to try and I'm of course extremely excited. Cabanne is now run by Alexis Cabanne in the fourth generation.

BESCHREIBUNG: 

Unabhängig davon, dass dieser Cognac aus dem Bon Bois mit seinen stolzen 45 Jahren daherkommt, hat er noch einen unglaublichen Alkoholgehalt von satten 62,5 %. 
Ich musste tatsächlich zweimal hinsehen, ob diese Zahl stimmt.

Das Label für diese Abfüllung findet seinen Ursprung in dem Lied "Message in a bottle" von 1979, aus welchem Jahr auch dieser Cognac stammt. 

Für mich ist der erste Cognac aus diesem Haus aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, welchen ich probieren darf und bin natürlich äußerst gespannt. Cabanne wird mittlerweile in der vierten Generation von Alexis Cabanne geführt.
