DESCRIPTION:

The very beautiful Cognac house Normandin Mercier is located in the Bois Ordinaires and is therefore one of the few houses located in this cru. 
However, they don't make any Cognac themselves (as of 2024), but they would like to make their own in the future. The first vines are currently being planted for this purpose. 

They source their cognacs from the Petite and Grande Champagne. 

In addition to Cognac, the two owners are big fans of honey. For this reason, they also sell various honey products. Including a honey cognac liqueur. 

Today we can review the 30 year old XO.

BESCHREIBUNG: 

Das sehr schöne Cognac Haus Normandin Mercier befindet sich im Bois Ordinaires und somit eines der wenigen Häusern, welche sich in diesem Crus befinden. 
Man stellt allerdings selbst keinen Cognac her (Stand: 2024), möchte in Zukunft aber gerne selbst welchen herstellen. Hierfür plant man gerade die ersten Reben anzubauen. 

Sie beziehen ihre Cognacs aus der Petite und Grande Champagne. 

Neben den Cognacs sind die beiden Eigentümer große Honigfans. Aus diesem Grund verkaufen Sie auch diverse Honigprodukte. Darunter auch einen Honig-Cognac-Likör. 

Heute dürfen wir den 30 Jahre alten XO verkosten.
