DESCRIPTION:

Here we have the 1st release from a exciting new project. This is a Bas Armagnac and it was chosen throughout a jury of 4 people. They've tasted four secrets Armagnacs from different houses and this, the Tuilerie from 1984, was the winner.

If you like to know more about their project you can visit their website.

COLOUR:
Bordeaux Red

NOSE:
Lot of vanilla and marzipan. Then some fresh cherries and tangerine juice.

PALATE:
Very smooth and oily with notes of milk chocolate, cappucino, maple syrup, very ripe mango and bananas and always elegant and sweet.

FINISH:
Terrific finish. It has everything a Bas-Armagnac finish needs. Wood, spices, tobacco, coffee, raisins and even after a long time, you suddenly have this old and wet cellar taste. Reminds me a on a light Chateau de Gaube finish.

OVERALL IMPRESSION:

Wonderful first release from Amateuerspirit. Chapeau!

Perfect in harmony and balance.

Really looking forward for more releases coming up.
