REVIEW # 5 - ARMAGNAC            21.12.2023

Domaine Rounagle 1986, 36 years old

ALC: 51,3 %
Bottled by: Grape of the Art
Bottled: 2023
Number of bottles: 291 (70cl)

DESCRIPTION:

First impression when I saw the design I thought on a pokemon card. Of course, this will not be the released design, but funny anyway. We have here a Tenareze Armagnac made from ugni blanc grapes.

So let's see, if we have here a small Pikachu or even Glurak.

COLOUR:
Terracotta

NOSE:

Yes, here we have a Tenareze! Can't hide it's origin.

Fresh roasted walnuts and almonds with some glazed honey. Creme Brulee. Less fruity here.

PALATE:
Swetness all around. Spices coming aorund the corner after a few seconds. But it stays sweet. Again Creme Brulee with some pepper on top.

FINISH:
Long finish. Some leather and again some walnuts

OVERALL IMPRESSION:

First, thank you for the Sample!
Really like the nutty style. And we have here another great release from the GotA-team. What else to expect here.

Coming back to the Pokemon card, it's more like Glurak
