Darroze Château de la Pouche: Half a Century in a Bottle 
For this Review, we travel deep into the Bas-Armagnac, specifically to Lagraulet-du-Gers and the Château de la Pouche. 

Today's expression is something truly special: A 50+ year old single cask, made exclusively from the Baco grape, and brought to the bottle by the independent bottler Darroze.

The history of the Château began in 1931 when it was purchased by Albert Morel. Passed down through his son André, the artisanal heritage is now in the hands of the grandson, Laurent Maurel. 

Today, the estate cultivates an impressive 150 hectares of vineyards (100% Baco) and guards liquid treasures with vintages dating back as far as 1942.

Darroze Château de la Pouche: Ein halbes Jahrhundert in Flaschen 
Für dieses Review begeben wir uns tief in das Bas-Armagnac, genauer gesagt nach Lagraulet-du-Gers zum Château de la Pouche. 

Die heutige Abfüllung ist etwas ganz Besonderes: Ein über 50 Jahre altes Einzelfass, ausschließlich aus der Baco-Rebe gewonnen und vom unabhängigen Abfüller Darroze auf die Flasche gezogen.

Die Geschichte des Châteaus beginnt im Jahr 1931 mit dem Kauf durch Albert Morel. Über seinen Sohn André ging das handwerkliche Erbe an den heutigen Besitzer, den Enkel Laurent Maurel, über. 

Heute bewirtschaftet das Weingut beeindruckende 150 Hektar Rebfläche (ausschließlich Baco) und hütet Schätze, deren Jahrgänge bis 1942 zurückreichen.
