DESCRIPTION:

Once again a very, very old cognac from the Cabanne family. 
This cognac from Grande Champagne is around 100 years old and was bottled in 20 and 70 cl bottles. 
Once again a piece of contemporary history that we can taste here today. 

After this long maturation period, the cognac still has a fairly high alcohol content of over 46%, which suggests that it was stored primarily in a dry cellar. 

At cognac-expert.com, where the cognac is/was available exclusively, is described as saying that there is supposedly still something left in the cask. Let's see whether we can see another bottling here in a few years with an even longer maturation period. I am very excited!

BESCHREIBUNG: 
Wieder einmal ein sehr, sehr alter Cognac von der Familie Cabanne. 
Dieser Cognac aus der Grande Champagne ist um die 100 Jahre alt und wurde in 20 und 70 cl Flaschen abgefüllt. 
Wieder einmal ein Stück Zeitgeschichte, welche wir heute hier verkosten dürfen. 

Der Cognac hat nach dieser langen Reifezeit einen noch recht hohen Alkoholanteil von über 46 %, was für eine überwiegende Lagerung in einem trockenen Keller spricht. 

Lt. cognac-expert.com, bei welchen der Cognac exklusiv erhältlich ist/war wird beschrieben, dass angeblich immer noch etwas im Fass übrig ist. Mal sehen, ob wir dann in ein paar Jahren hier eine weitere Abfüllung mit einer noch längeren Reifezeit sehen dürfen. Ich bin sehr gespannt!
